As Vice President of the student body, he then resigned his post, only after weeks of stress, legal hell and physical threats from students and strangers. The same thing took place Indiana University, site of the first official College Invasion film.

At Chico State University, site of the College Invasion 6 movie, the antics of some resulted in more suspensions and expulsions, while the offending fraternity house had their charter suspended for a year.

Third, administrators decried the company in the media, claiming they were exploiting the university and its students for profit. The story was featured on CNN, MTV, Dateline NBC, The O’Reilly Factor, The Tyra Banks Show, and in USA Today and Time Magazine. Meanwhile, Shane’s World maintained its innocence, suggesting that the university had its head buried in the sand when it came to the perception that teenage and early twenty-somethings didn’t engage in this kind of behavior anyway. The company claimed it was legally within its rights and merely creating documentaries of what really goes on at college campuses.
