AEBN has recently added three new straight categories to the theater: Indian, Cuckold, and Cougar. These three niches have become very popular, with customers and affiliates alike asking for their addition. Webmasters can take greater advantage of their popularity with surfers now that they are categories within the AEBN system.

The Indian category features actors who are from India or of Indian descent. The Cuckold category contains films in which submissive men watch other men have sex with their wives, and the Cougar niche showcases older, sexually aggressive women who prowl for younger men to satisfy their sexual desires.

AEBN has introduced several enhancements to the TubeFeeder sales tool, all designed to improve and streamline the user experience.

These additions incorporate more client-side scripting to improve the overall efficiency of the application. The TubeFeeder Dashboard has been updated with several new features, including a “Details” button that shows the selected criteria for a previously generated feed, an “Edit” option to change a feed’s details on the fly, as well as a new “Advanced Implementation” option.

The “Advanced Implementation” option offers an alternate method for coding TubeFeeder feeds using an Ajax script that allows for more dynamic zones than the standard iframe.

The upgrade also includes the addition of a “My Account” page that allows users to update their login information and a simplified version of Captcha verification, with design and layout changes that improve the feed creation process.

Step-by-step user guides have been posted on the AEBN Blog to help Webmasters take full advantage of this promotional tool.

On the heels of a win at this year’s Cybersocket Web Awards, AEBN has brought home another award from XBIZ for VOD Company of the Year.

“The XBIZ State of the Industry conference was an excellent opportunity for networking, learning from industry veterans and deepening existing relationships,” says AEBN’s Liz Wright, who was in attendance and accepted the award for the company.

“AEBN is thrilled to be named as VOD Company of the Year by an organization like XBIZ, who is consistently recognized for its excellence. We are particularly grateful to our amazing family of affiliates, manufacturers, and studios without whom we could not hope to move forward with continued growth and innovation.”

The XBIZ Awards honor achievement in the fields of adult Internet, adult video, adult novelty and adult retail. The awards ceremony was held in conjunction with the annual XBIZ ’09 Conference at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills, Calif.

This week, the winners of the 9th annual Cybersocket Web Awards were announced and AEBN took home the honors for Best VOD Site, as voted by online surfers. Brett Drysdale was on hand at the awards show in West Hollywood to accept the award for the company.

Drysdale, who recently joined AEBN to head up its RealTouch project, praised the hard work the team at AEBN had put in over the last ten years, creating the best possible VOD site with the absolute best gay content. “It is extremely gratifying winning the Surfer’s Choice aware as this is a true acknowledgment from the people.”

AEBN’s Liz Wright will also be on the west coast next week attending this year’s XBIZ Conference. A three-day event, the XBIZ conference gives attendees the chance to spark new relationships, inspire business deals and gain insight into what powers the pulse of adult entertainment. It will be held February 9th through the 13th in Woodland Hills, California.
