Porn stars don’t get more famous than Stormy Daniels, who was well-known for hundreds of erotic movies long before recent scandalous revelations about her private sex life hit the tabloids and major news outlets. Stormy was born Stephanie Clifford on St. Patrick’s Day 1979 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Stormy wrote, directed, and starred in this sexy, funny, action-packed porn feature. Its success was widespread, and in 2008 she was named Jenna Jameson Crossover Star of the Year at the AVN Awards. The critics at Adult DVD Empire called Operation Desert Stormy “the greatest porn movie ever made.” Its success led to a sequel, Operation: Tropical Stormy, in 2009.
Stormy’s scene in Space Nuts was featured in HBO’s popular “Pornucopia,” and led to her getting roles in the Hollywood blockbuster comedies The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up. Her other mainstream work includes Maroon 5’s “Wake Up Call” music video and the former FX Network hit, Dirt.
