Writer/director Nica Noelle loves to explore dark desires and push boundaries, and Mother Superior is her most controversial film so far. We see behind the walls of a convent where older nuns take young sisters not just under their wings, but into their arms. Sometimes sexual deprivation only makes the urges stronger.
As the movie begins, Mother Superior (Magdalene St. Michaels) sends for young Sister Margaret (Mae Olsen) to come and rub her sore feet. Believing herself unworthy, Sister Margaret does as she’s told. As Mother Magdalene asks her young charge to go higher up her legs, Sister Margaret looks more uncomfortable and Mother Magdalene sounds even more like a dirty old woman. In the last scene, Sister Paula speaks with Sister Bridget (Jasmine Jem) as Mother Magdalene asked her to do earlier. Sister Bridget tells Sister Paula she doubts her faith because of her sexual urges and how easily she succumbed to them. She fears Satan has taken control of her body and now masturbation is all she can think about. Sister Paula tells Sister Bridget to show her what she does and offers to cast out any demons that happen to appear. Reluctantly Sister Bridget complies, and soon Sister Paula joins her in bed, reciting a prayer to “help” the less experienced nun through her “ordeal.” Naturally, having a beautiful fellow nun next to her means that Sister Bridget doesn’t have to resort to self-pleasure this time!
