The word “classic” is an overused term. Filmed by legendary Sexploitation-era director Joe Sarno, DIAS is one of the original five “Inside” series of movies that included Inside Seka, Inside Jennifer Welles, All About Gloria Leonard and Inside Little Oral Annie. They were originally released by Distribpix, perhaps the most prominent and important adult distribution company that ever was. Started by legendary video entrepreneur Arthur Morowitz, Distribpix shipped XXX films to major movie houses coast-to-coast during an era when movie theaters still littered the corners of major metropolitan cities.
Since then, Distribpix has become Video-X-Pix, but only the name has changed. The legacies of Arthur Morowitz and prominent Sexploitation-era directors like Joe Sarno, Ron Sullivan, and The Amero Brothers have been preserved brilliantly by Arthur’s son Steven, who now runs the company with a small, yet close-knit band of like-minded movie buffs. Recently, they unearthed a treasure trove of original 35mm negatives from the Distribpix vault, including DIAS. Thousands of dollars and man hours have been spent conducting HD transfers on a handpicked selection of these old masters. The results of their labor are what you will find here in our VOD, and they are indeed stunning: enhanced 1080p resolution, crystalline picture, richer sound and color, and an opportunity to see Annie like you’ve never seen her before.
