Porn star Sasha Grey continues her crossover trajectory from the adult industry to mainstream entertainment with a new role in a movie called “Skinny Dip.” Grey, who played a call girl in Steven Soderbergh’s “The Girlfriend Experience” and scored a recurring role on “Entourage,” takes the lead role in “a revenge story involving a young woman and a policeman,” Movieline reports.
The film is directed by Frankie Latina and costars Danny Trejo (of the 2010 action blockbuster, ‘Machete”), Michelle Rodriquez, (familiar to fans of TV’s ‘Lost” as Ana Lucia) and Eric Roberts (who has a long, checkerboard resume of stunning award winners and bargain bin turkeys).
Celeb and style blog, The Frisky, says this: “It seems entirely possible that in the not-too-distant future, the line between “mainstream movies” and “porn” will cease to exist and NC-17 ratings will become a thing of the past. What do you think?”
