AEBN at Internext

The 2008 Internext convention in Las Vegas reached a successful conclusion last week having unveiled a newer format than in years past. The premier business-to-business networking event for adult entertainment professionals left behind the traditional exhibit floor, instead utilizing the 25,000 square foot Rain nightclub to offer an array of VIP rooms, private sky boxes, indoor cabanas, fully stocked bars, and a full production stage.

This year’s events included a fantasy suite block party, stage shows, a live adult domain auction, one-on-one legal sessions, and a farewell party featuring the prominent ’90s band Everclear. In attendance were several representatives from AEBN, the global leader in Video on Demand, all of whom came away impressed with the new format.

Overall, the show was a great success, says Erin Burns, Senior Content Account Executive for AEBN. “I thought the suite parties were great. Anytime you get that many amazing personalities in one hotel, good times will always ensue.”

Sales Executive April King also loved the changes. “My overall experience at Internext was great!” she exclaimed. “I loved the idea of the suite parties and the different layout of the convention floor. Everyone I had a chance to speak with at the show was very pleasant and I had a wonderful time meeting with them.”

An annual event, the Internext convention is a mainstay for companies and professionals involved within the digital media marketplace. For most, it is a way to keep tabs on an ever-changing digital landscape and to forge some new bonds in the process.

Says Burns, “This industry is so based on personal relationships. We need these shows to grow those relationships and establish new contacts. But, it is also a chance to make new friends.”
